A sustainable business creates income without requiring you to ignore your energy, preferences, or life. Use these three lenses to decide what belongs in your business.
What is a fun and profitable business model?
A fun and profitable business model balances financial sustainability with the way you want to work. It helps you make deliberate choices about offers, delivery, marketing, and systems instead of copying a structure that does not fit.
Fun is not a reward reserved for after the revenue arrives. Enjoyment, energy, and ease can improve consistency and make the business more sustainable.
How to design a business that feels good to run
Notice which work creates energy, which work reliably drains it, and which activities directly support revenue. Keep what works, simplify what feels unnecessarily heavy, and redesign what no longer fits.
The goal is not to remove every difficult task. It is to ensure that challenge serves a meaningful purpose rather than becoming the default operating system.
How profit fits the model
Profit gives the business capacity to pay you, improve delivery, prepare for uncertainty, and continue serving customers. Clear pricing and consistent invitations are part of building a business that supports your life.
Evaluate each offer by both its financial contribution and its delivery experience. Revenue that requires an unsustainable workload may need a different price, scope, or system.

What makes a business fun and profitable?
Hey there, and welcome to episode 17 of Your Fun and Profitable Online Business. I’m your host, Wendy Muzzy, a money coach and business strategist, and I’m here to hand you the golden confetti cannon of permission. Let’s pass it along to everybody, please. I want you to build a business that feels just as good as it looks. Today’s episode is juicy because we’re talking about your business model. Not just one that makes you money, but one that’s actually energizing and one that lifts you up and fits you, no one else but you. I’m breaking down my three-part fun and profitable business model, the exact framework I use in my business and with my clients to create more ease, more income and way fewer ugh moments. All right, let’s get to it. So many entrepreneurs accidentally build businesses that feel like cages and this breaks my heart. Look, we want freedom. We started this for all these grand ideas. Why are we closing ourselves in? I will never understand it. Here’s why clients tell me it’s happened to them. They said yes to things that used to work. They follow formulas that don’t fit their personality. They build around what sells instead of actually what sustains them. And they try to do this all themselves. But the most successful business models are built around you. That’s what I want for you. That’s exactly what we’re building inside my membership that just opened this
Do more of what creates energy
week. Now more on that in a second, but let’s stay focused here. Let’s go over the three parts of the fun and profitable online business model. Part one, do more of what lights you up. This is your energy amplifier. Here the questions are, what parts of your business make you feel alive? What would you do for free because it’s just fun? And what are people always asking you for. This is not fluff. This is your fuel. Want an example? Okay, let’s say you love Voxer coaching. Build it in. Or maybe you thrive in collaboration, host bundles, and create a co-led program. Do you light up when you teach? Make workshops your core offer. You’re not here to muscle your way through your business. You’re here to enjoy it. So go out there and enjoy it. Part two, do less of what drained you. This is what I call your burnout blocker. Let’s be honest. Some things in your business feel like shoulds, but they’re not exactly strategic. Here’s some questions. What are you doing out of obligation? What could be automated, delegated, or eliminated? What makes you feel the most drained? For me, that’s social media. I’m very loud about that. And I don’t force it. You might see me on social media every once in a while, but I’m not gonna go on there three times a week and do my strategic post and do this and send these DMs and all these other things. I’m just not gonna do it. If something gives
Do less of what drains the business
you the ick, it’s time to let it go. There are so many other ways out there for you to grow. When you protect your energy, you expand your impact and it is a beautiful place to be. And part three of the fun and profitable business model, make money with confidence and ease. This is your profit unlock. You don’t need to work more. You need to align more. This looks like offers that solve real problems that feel like you, not something a coach recommended that you do a year ago. Pricing that makes you proud and is sustainable. And systems that make you money while you rest so you can spend more of your time building your business. I’m not saying you’re propping your feet up on the beach 24 seven and the money’s rolling in. I think that’s a problem in our industry because we keep saying, oh, this is so easy. No, you have to do the work, but you can also make money while you rest so you don’t always have to work. Inside my business, and now inside my membership, this is what I focus on. And let me tell you, once these things are in place, everything changes. Which brings me to a quick invitation. The fun and profitable community is now open. Is this episode hitting home? You’re going to love what we’re going to do inside there. It’s brand new. It’s super exciting. Founding members are helping create it in a way that helps them move them forward. Every week, you’ll get a downloadable

resource. Think like templates, swipe files, checklist guides, a needle-moving activity designed to spark real progress, or a combo of the two. Because I’m a little extra like that. Now, this is a space where strategy meets celebration. And yes, founding member pricing is active now. But I’m not sure how long that’s going to be. So go check it out. Hop on over to wendymuzzy.com/funandprofitable to join us. We’re just getting started, and you belong in this room. All right, given this information, I want you to write down one thing that lights you up in your business, one thing that trains you in your business, and one thing you could do to make money with a little more ease this week. Put this list somewhere you can see it throughout the week and take one small action towards making it happen today. And if you want to get a cheer squad, we’re over there for you in the fun and profitable community, wendymuzzy.com/funandprofitable. All right, my final thoughts. You’re not just building a business. You’re building a lifestyle, a legacy, and a way of working that supports your joy. So center on what lights you up. Let go of what trains you and lean into income that feels good. Because business can and should be fun. That’s one of the only “shoulds” I’m going to allow. But it should be fun and profitable and yours. Until next time, have fun and keep it profitable!
