The RIGHT Offer Framework for creating a strategic ecosystem of 3-5 offers
[0:06] Hey there, and welcome to episode 19 of Your Fun and Profitable Online Business. This is the podcast where we blend strategy with celebration and build businesses that support our lives, not just our income goals. I’m your host, Wendy Muzzy, money coach, business strategist, and your personal hype woman for building a business that feels aligned and dare I say it, actually fun. Today, we’re talking about something that sounds simple, but most entrepreneurs overcomplicate it real fast. It’s your offer suite. Or said differently, it’s how you make money in your business. Because if your current suite of offers is just making you feel overwhelmed, overbooked, and over it, that’s not a strategy. That’s survival mode. All right, let’s talk about how to design a simplified offer suite. Here’s what i often see i see business owners come to me with a million half-baked ideas their offers maybe or their things they’ve tried they just want to know what should they move forward with or the pricing that’s inconsistent or unclear like you don’t really know where they’re coming from with their pricing or their launches feel chaotic or there’s really just no idea how all of it fits together. And when this happens, it’s confusing, not just for the business owner, but for their audience too. And it’s draining. And that is not part of a fun and profitable business. But when we make our offer suite intentional and designed from a place of growth, marketing gets easier, the clients understand how they move through the offers, and you stop feeling like you’re chasing your tail. Now, I wanna make this very clear. This is not about having more offers. It’s about creating the right ones for you and your clients. Okay, I wanna go through the process of simplifying your offer suite. There’s some steps here that kind of make sense or if you’re just creating your offer suite, this is a great place to start. Up first, you wanna anchor to one core transformation.
How to anchor all your offers to one core transformation for clarity and flow
[2:13] All of your offers should move up the same ladder to the overall transformation. Here, you want to ask yourself, what do I help people do from start to finish? Or, and, what problem am I uniquely positioned to solve? Now, this will give you a thread throughout, and you’ll know what your audience is really about, and you’re not trying to sell five unrelated things every other month. My business is all about helping women entrepreneurs create fun and profitable businesses. Every part of that kind of ties together to that general theme. Up next, choose just three to five strategic offers. Now, I use my write-offer framework here, which is R, a free resource to build trust or lead magnet. I, an immediate win. This is your low-ticket, quick results offer. G, a growth and learning experience. This is mid-ticket. It could be a course. It could be a workshop. It can be anything out there that you want like that. H, high-level support. These are your one-to-one offers generally. And T, top tier. These are subscription, community, or ongoing access. But not everyone needs all five. Having three to five offers with different levels of access in depth gives you a clear ecosystem without overwhelming your schedule. and that’s really important. Each offer has a job and each one builds to the next.
How to design offers that support your ideal lifestyle, not sabotage it
[3:40] Number three, design for your life, not just for your revenue goals. This one is big. I want you to look at where you want to work, how you want to show up, is that calls or Voxers or self-paced, and what your ideal work week looks like. And then ask, do your offers support that life or sabotage it. The truth is, it’s not about how much you can sell. It’s about how well your offers support the life you actually want to live. And simplifying does not mean shrinking. It means getting intentional and laser focused on what you’re doing.
Four critical mistakes to avoid when building your offer suite (including pricing misalignment)
[4:16] Okay, so we talked about how you can simplify. Now I want to kind of go over some mistakes to avoid. These are some I’m going to call out that I see way too many brilliant business owners make when they’re building their offer ecosystem. Mistake number one, they’re building from FOMO instead of flow. This may sound like, oh, she has a group program, I should make one too. Nope. Just because something is trending doesn’t mean it’s aligned. Just because someone else is doing it doesn’t mean that you should do it. I want you to build from your own strategy, not someone else’s highlight reel. Mistake number two, creating offers before mapping the ecosystem. Now, we often, I’m putting myself here too, get a spark of inspiration to launch something, but we don’t consider how it connects to the other offers or our audience’s journey. Here, I want you to think like a curator, not a content machine. Think about the transformation that you’re offering and build offers that lead to that. Mistake number three, pricing that doesn’t reflect your access or the transformation you’re providing. If your one-to-one coaching and your digital course are the same price, there’s a misalignment there. And that causes friction in your sales and in your schedule. Pricing should reflect how you’re showing up and what the transformation is. Mistake number four, making offers harder to deliver than they need to be. If your offers require a ton of live time or reinventing the wheel each time, you’re going to burn out fast. I want you to let your systems and structure support you. Templates, pre-recorded content, automations, those are all total game changers.
A simple decision-making tool when you’re stuck between multiple offer ideas
[6:07] Now, sometimes I have clients that are stuck between ideas. They hear these common mistakes. They hear the ways to simplify and they’re still like, I’m stuck between these two ideas. What do you do? If this is you and you’ve got too many ideas and don’t know which offer to move forward with, try this. Ask yourself, if you could only deliver one offer for the next three months, only one, what would it be? This will show you which offer feels the most sustainable and energizing to you right now. It doesn’t have to be the same one next month. It’s how you feel right now. Now, spoiler alert, this is probably your anchor offer. And I want you to build around that. Remember, we’re building fun and profitable businesses here. And it’s incredibly important that you enjoy what you’re doing. All right, let’s get to your action step. I want you to take 15 minutes this week and list all of your current offers or offer ideas. Just write them all down. And then ask yourself, does each offer connect to your core transformation? Do you know the job each offer is doing? Do these offers support your capacity, your income goals, and or your lifestyle? If not, don’t panic. This is your chance to make a change. Drop or address what’s draining you. Lean into what’s working and fill in the gaps with purpose. Look, you don’t need to prove your worth with more offers. You just need to connect your brilliance to the right format and build your business in a way that supports your life. Aligned, strategic, profitable. That’s what we’re after. And this is what we focus on inside the fun and profitable community. If you’re interested, I would love for you to come hang out with us. Go to wendymuzzy.com/funandprofitable to find out more. All right, let’s build something that feels better and works better too. See you next week, my friend. And until then, happy simplifying!
