How to identify and amplify the parts of your business that make you feel alive

[0:06] Hey there, and welcome to episode 17 of Your Fun and Profitable Online Business. I’m your host, Wendy Muzzy, a money coach and business strategist, and I’m here to hand you the golden confetti cannon of permission. Let’s pass it along to everybody, please. I want you to build a business that feels just as good as it looks. Today’s episode is juicy because we’re talking about your business model. Not just one that makes you money, but one that’s actually energizing and one that lifts you up and fits you, no one else but you. I’m breaking down my three-part fun and profitable business model, the exact framework I use in my business and with my clients to create more ease, more income and way fewer ugh moments. All right, let’s get to it. So many entrepreneurs accidentally build businesses that feel like cages and this breaks my heart. Look, we want freedom. We started this for all these grand ideas. Why are we closing ourselves in? I will never understand it. Here’s why clients tell me it’s happened to them. They said yes to things that used to work. They follow formulas that don’t fit their personality. They build around what sells instead of actually what sustains them. And they try to do this all themselves. But the most successful business models are built around you. That’s what I want for you. That’s exactly what we’re building inside my membership that just opened this week. Now more on that in a second, but let’s stay focused here. Let’s go over the three parts of the fun and profitable online business model. Part one, do more of what lights you up. This is your energy amplifier. Here the questions are, what parts of your business make you feel alive? What would you do for free because it’s just fun? And what are people always asking you for. This is not fluff. This is your fuel. Want an example? Okay, let’s say you love Voxer coaching. Build it in. Or maybe you thrive in collaboration, host bundles, and create a co-led program. Do you light up when you teach? Make workshops your core offer. You’re not here to muscle your way through your business. You’re here to enjoy it. So go out there and enjoy it.

Strategies to eliminate, automate, or delegate energy-draining tasks and obligations

[2:23] Part two, do less of what drained you. This is what I call your burnout blocker. Let’s be honest. Some things in your business feel like shoulds, but they’re not exactly strategic. Here’s some questions. What are you doing out of obligation? What could be automated, delegated, or eliminated? What makes you feel the most drained? For me, that’s social media. I’m very loud about that. And I don’t force it. You might see me on social media every once in a while, but I’m not gonna go on there three times a week and do my strategic post and do this and send these DMs and all these other things. I’m just not gonna do it. If something gives you the ick, it’s time to let it go. There are so many other ways out there for you to grow. When you protect your energy, you expand your impact and it is a beautiful place to be.

A framework for creating offers and systems that generate income while protecting your energy

[3:14] And part three of the fun and profitable business model, make money with confidence and ease. This is your profit unlock. You don’t need to work more. You need to align more. This looks like offers that solve real problems that feel like you, not something a coach recommended that you do a year ago. Pricing that makes you proud and is sustainable. And systems that make you money while you rest so you can spend more of your time building your business. I’m not saying you’re propping your feet up on the beach 24 seven and the money’s rolling in. I think that’s a problem in our industry because we keep saying, oh, this is so easy. No, you have to do the work, but you can also make money while you rest so you don’t always have to work. Inside my business, and now inside my membership, this is what I focus on. And let me tell you, once these things are in place, everything changes. Which brings me to a quick invitation.
